HEADING HOME

Favorite artwork left behind as widow heads home after holidays with the family.

Where is “home” for you? Even when I lived in Colorado for forty years, when people asked me where home was, I’d say West Virginia. Yet, home is where my heart is. When I am in the loving embrace of my family, I am home. When I was with Mr. Virgo, I was home. Now my heart is in West Virginia so I’m heading home today. Home to the farm and the barn cats and my WV family and friends.

I spent yesterday afternoon with daughter #2. We laughed till we couldn’t breathe. It is really interesting how your relationship changes when your kids become adults. I love it! My flight leaves about the time you’re reading this and it will take me about eleven hours to get home…so, it’s going to be a really long day. Oh, how I love to travel! Prayers for travel mercies. ❤️

“The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
