Take Five

Another Day Done

I’m not ashamed to say, I didn’t do diddly squat yesterday! Well, i went to town to get my blood drawn, met up with Mr. FixIt, grabbed some lunch in the rain, took some squash from the garden over to the former Mrs. FixIt’s house and sat on her front porch for awhile to watch the rain some more. We went home. I took a nap. Then I surfed the internet. Do I buy a smaller camper this truck can easily tow? Do I buy a stronger truck with less miles and keep the camper I have? Do we fly to Colorado in September? Or do we drive? My older truck with over 100K miles on it? Or rent a car? If we drive, do I take a camper? If so…see earlier musings on camper and truck.

Decisions, decisions. And the most delicious thing is…I didn’t have to make any!

Little and gang have stopped for their second night on the road. They will get home tomorrow. I am so happy they didn’t try to just drive straight through. My daughter is slowly realizing each decade lived presents a slight decrease in what you can accomplish in one day. I will definitely breathe a huge sigh of relief when they arrive home safely. Then I can turn my attention to the next big trip. Once I get it planned, we can work on the next big project.

I love that there is always something to do!

There’s never a dull moment!

“It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.”

Psalm 127:2 ESV
