Sisters on the Fly at Thresher Days

Being with a group of like-minded gals for a weekend of trailers and food and fun activities like iron skillet tossing does wonders for me. I always come back feeling rested and empowered…ready to face anything. These women are loving and supportive yet they challenge me to be my best. Maurrie Sussman and her sister, Becky, have done women a great service in creating Sisters on the Fly. I have met lifelong friends and I’m looking forward to hooking up with more Sisters when I get moved and settled.

I stopped in Denver on my way home for a power nap and quick visit with most of my family. On my way through the mountains, I got a call from a friend of mine who is photographing the Colorado Grand, a rally for luxury car owners. He asked if I wanted to stop in Vail to see the cars. Well, heck yeah…I love cars! And oh my gosh…there were some amazing cars in this garage. There were maybe 35 cars when I got there. I asked how much just those cars alone were worth. I was told just ONE CAR can be worth 30 million dollars!!! Holy cats! I was drunk on Lamborghini when we went to dinner and watched part of the Broncos game.

All in all…e-x-a-c-t-l-y what I needed, when I needed it. Self care is extremely important. The buyers had a home inspector over on Saturday and the appraiser comes today. And the beat goes on… <3

  1. Yes, the weekend I missed you by not being on the grounds! You need to visit Yuma again! We have a new paved Main Street, a wedding venue and brewery in the old grocery store and a Tractor Supply Store now!
