Saying Goodbye…

At least for a little while. It’s so hard to leave them! But they understand I have some important work to do in the next few months so it’s all good.
God watched out for me yesterday especially well. I got to the airport too early to check my bags in so I sat at a little restaurant and let time flow over me as I watch the travelers going to and fro. To say I “enjoyed lunch” would be a nod to the experience it provided, not the food itself. Afterward, I went to the Post Office in the airport and shipped a box of clothes. It was half what the charge is for a heavy bag and I had the time.

I wandered to C Concourse where I found Xpres Spa. I got my hair cut and took advantage of the massage chairs for an hour. That was delightful. I grabbed a snack and headed to the gate. We boarded, got comfortable, and the captain came on and apologized saying there was a mechanical difficulty and we needed to change planes. I didn’t get to my hotel room till nearly 2:00am. I only slept 2.5 hours Thursday night so I was asleep before we were airborne and didn’t wake up till the plane was nearly empty!

I parked my truck at a place near the Dayton Airport call Westwind Airport Valet. They were super nice, delivered me to the airport in a stretch limo, washed my truck for me, picked me back up in the limo and delivered me back to my nice clean truck. They answered a ton of questions and took exceptional care of me. I was parked there from December 13th to January 15th for $253. I felt that was quite reasonable for long term parking with exceptional service.

I’m speaking today to a private group…many of whom are Marshmallow Ranch readers like yourselves. I really enjoy doing these. It gives me a chance to meet you, and it helps to give you a face when I’m “talking to you” via my blog posts. It’s a beautiful life!

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
