It turns out it was a Buckeye tree, but there was a black walnut right next to it! ❤️

Yep, it’s a Buckeye, but we were a little early. None fell while we were there and I couldn’t reach that high! ❤️

They drop off the tree and three piece outer shell falls off and you get a shiny lucky buckeye!

And by the way I am headed to Philadelphia to meet our newest grandchild, Adeline Grace Maersch who will be 1month old on Sunday. Tomorrow it will be my 64th birthday as well as her mothers.
