Plantar-Palmar Psoriasis: A Conundrum

Healing of psoriasis after two weeks of CBD ointment
“The difference CBD Ointment made after just two weeks of use is absolutely remarkable!”

Refresher:

After Mr. Virgo died, I developed an autoimmune disorder. It took three years to diagnose what was happening to my skin. As you can see in the photo on the left, my skin thickened, dried, split, and peeled. Then it started all over again. Cycle after cycle. My feet were just as bad. Occasionally it would appear on my elbows or on random spots on my legs. Much mostly just the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. It got so bad that I had to wrap my feet with duct tape to keep them from splitting open. I went through thousands of bandaids as I had to keep my fingers wrapped constantly…for comfort and also out of embarrassment.

I went to doctor after doctor. I used every over the counter product there was available. I went through dozens of tubes of expensive medications. Nothing worked. Finally, my doctor found the correct diagnosis…Plantar Palmar Psoriasis. Still, the medications for it didn’t work. The next thing to try was systemic steroids or one of the new, strong drugs for psoriasis. They also talked about doing light therapy. I was not happy with either scenario.

I was in Colorado visiting, and a friend saw my hands. She suggested I go to a marijuana dispensary to see if they had something to offer. I did, after much contemplation. I didn’t want the psychoactive effects of marijuana but I would do just about anything for relief. This had become debilitating. I showed them my hands and they recommended an ointment. It cost $50 for a small jar. One jar lasts about 1-2 months, depending how often I have to use it.

The difference between the photo on the left and the photo on the right is two weeks. Two weeks! I had been struggling for three years and cannabis fixed it in two weeks. Now, this is not legal in West Virginia, so I can only use CBD ointment…the kind without THC. THC is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. As it turned out, when I used the ointment with the THC, I only felt very mild effects the very first time I used it. After that, I felt nothing. Using CBD without THC is a no brainer. It couldn’t get you high if you ate it straight out of the jar.

Last year, I was in Fruth Pharmacy in Mineral Wells getting something and noticed a case up front with CBD oils and ointments in it. I was thrilled to know that I could replenish my supply of ointment locally and not have to order it over the internet. I went in yesterday as my little jar is almost empty. The case was gone! I asked what happened and the clerk said they had to get rid of it. I asked who told them they had to get rid of it. The answer? The government.

Yes. These are the same people who say I have to be carded at the age of 65 when I buy non-alcohol beer but a 12 year old can buy Listerine which is 54 Proof. I don’t understand. It’s ridiculous. I am not asking for opioids. I am not seeking a high. I am not looking to used anything that is addictive. All I want is CBD ointment or oil. Cannabidiol. Look at these photos. If this isn’t photographic evidence of the efficacy of cannabis in the treatment of psoriasis, I don’t know what is. God made all the plants of the field. ALL of the plants. Some plants are poisonous…but this plant offers healing when used properly and it should be made available everywhere.

❤️

Disclaimer: Remember, I am not a doctor and I cannot give medical advice  I’m just telling you what worked for me. I can’t be responsible for what may or may not occur if you choose to follow my example. I showed my doctors and they were stunned.

  1. I have no issue with CBD oil, but I can’t use it because of my job, legal or not. I was in Alaska this past year and found another herbal tincture which produced similar results for me without the moral conundrum. It’s called Devils Club. The products I use is hand harvested and made into a salve in microbatches. Let me know if you want the information for it.

    1. Sherylyn, I would appreciate the information on Devils Club because my son is a Fireman and because of his job he also cannot use CBD oil.
      Thank you
      Ellie

    2. I would appreciate any and all information you may be able to provide on the product called “Devils Claw”. Have been plagued with this problem for years. Thanking you in advance. Sandy

  2. Big pharma isn’t making money on it…they want you buying their prescriptions even if they don’t work! This oil is a life saver for so many including cancer patients!! It’s sad and I’m so saddened you cannot get what you need to be well. It’s obvious it helped you greatly!!

  3. Check out EmuOilDepot.com. I use their emu oil for so many things, including dry skin, insect bites, sunburn, cuts, etc. It takes very little. A 2 ounce bottle lasts me about a year.

  4. Hi Ginny. Thanks for the info. My husband’s hands hurt so bad. Did you get any relief from the CBD oil without the THC? May I ask where you order yours from? Thanks so much. Enjoy reading your blog. Mary

    1. The kind without THC isn’t QUITE as good as that with, but it is a heck of a lot better than anything I had ever tried before. I buy Elite Compound from marysnutritionals.com and it works well. When it was terrible, I put it on whenever I thought of it. It does have menthol in it so you want to be careful and not put your fingers near your eyes. You also don’t want to use it just before you go to the bathroom, if you catch my drift. I also take doTerra’s Life Pack vitamins. I think that might help as well. I hope he finds some relief. ❤️

  5. If I could please be put on your list to be notified when the print copies of The First Day in Heaven artwork is available for legitimate purchase, I would appreciate it very much. I know of others that have been looking for this print, as well.

    God Bless

    1. Hi, Janet…I just added your name to the list for the painting. The actual name of the painting is “I Found My Beloved; I Will Not Let Him Go”. The people who pirated Kerolos’ painting sold it under the other name. Thank you for wanting to purchase from the original artist. I will let you know when the painting becomes available in the States. ❤️
