Yesterday was a perfect day! The girls and I took a ride through a beautiful high country meadow overlooking a lake. The sun was shining, the temps were mild, the horses were amazing creatures, and my grandchildren had a wonderful time. They thanked me and asked when we could do it again…when can we come to Steamboat again? That is the true mark of a successful adventure!

We drove to town and checked out some shops. Little starts riding lessons soon so she got pink cowboy boots. That was exciting! We came back to the camper for quiet time. Hot dogs for dinner. Then we played a game of Minion Monopoly. Big was so funny. Little was giving her a hard time for taking all her money and a property. Big looked at her and said, “Hey, it’s business…I’m just trying to make a living here!” OMGosh…my ribs hurt from laughing so hard!

We ended the night with s’mores and a movie. Thus ending a perfect summer day.
