Peace

I had an interesting thing happen. When I was in Deadwood, I got to see and visit with a Sister/friend from Mississippi. Sue is an author who pens romantic mysteries and books about the supernatural. I first met her in Estes Park two years ago at a Sisters on the Fly event. She took us on a ghost tour/investigation of the Historic Stanley Hotel which was really cool. Sue is a hoot and a half and I was thrilled when she took a couple days away from her writing (even though she is pushing a deadline) to join us.

I was telling Sue about having my cards read in May and that the gal finally put them down and said there was a gray haired man there with me. She told me he is always with me, over my left shoulder. She leaned her head on her fist and said, “He looks at you like this. He adores you!” And that made me teary eyed because that’s what he always told me. Sue got really excited and said she wanted to contact a woman she knows on my behalf who sometimes receives messages from those who have passed.

Yesterday she sent me a note from the gal. She said she saw a picture of Sue and me on FB and a gray haired man came forward with a message for me. She wrote my name as Jennie, not Ginny, even though Sue had not identified me. She said the man wanted me to know he’s ok. Sue called her for more details of the vision she had seen. She said the gray haired man showed her a deck or patio and we were drinking something out of mugs. He told her his happiest times were with me outside. And we did sit out on the porch often, drinking our coffee. I loved those mornings.

I know. It’s an easy assumption for her to make. Most couples sit outside and drink coffee when they can. But Sue asked her if he had a beard or mustache. The lady said no, he was clean shaven. That’s what the card reader said as well. Mr. Virgo didn’t have his beard when he died. Who knows? Maybe it’s hooey. But it’s comforting to me to receive the same message, with the same description from two different people. It gives me peace.
