“Just Breathe!”

Ok, so…the showing went very well yesterday morning. The lady really liked it and now wants her husband to come see it. I hope he subscribes to the “Happy Wife…Happy Life!” school of thought! I am not going to obsess…I am not going to obsess…I am NOT going to obsess! lol

I’m heading to the Front Range this morning. I get to camp with my youngest grand daughter for two nights. Sister has a swim meet and it is NOT pleasant when we awaken the princess too early! Hence, she will stay with Nana!

I am playing a game with myself. I have laid out what I want to pack for my trip on Sunday. I gave myself an hour and went back and picked through to see what I can do without. Then I did it a couple more times. It’s amazing what I cut out by doing that. I will go through it again before I actually pack. I mean, really…I’m going to WV in late July. I need a couple tank tops, a couple pairs of shorts, a sundress or two, dainties and toiletries. One pair of sandals and one pair of tennies. All I REALLY need is a toothbrush and a charge card! Last year I took EVERYTHING. I find if I don’t plan ahead and take my time packing, I just throw everything in the suitcase. I always end up thinking “What on earth did I bring that for?” I’ll tell you what, my friend who is picking me up at the airport will thank me. He could barely lift the big suitcase last year.

I am so excited for this trip! My ideal living situation would be to have a small place in WV and a small place in CO and split my time between the two. I’m going to just see what’s available while I’m there this time. I love having something fun to plan and look forward to. One of my dreams has been to have a place where I can hold retreats (artist, writer, yoga, stitching, knitting, quilting, etc.) I can just envision small groups gathering on my property, sitting around the campfire at night, sharing meals, learning from each other, sharing with each other, supporting each other in whatever growth we happen to be wrangling with at the time. I love having a picture in my mind that I can send out into the universe and watch it start to grow. Of course, my universal energy source is God, but no matter what your persuasion, my retreats would be all encompassing and would be open to any creative (or not so creative) souls. I could have retreats here in CO and in the beautiful, lush green hills of WV. What do you all think? Is that something you would be interested in? Is there anything in particular you would like to do or discuss? What do you envision it looking like? I’ve already been laying some groundwork over the last year. I have met some wonderful women who would love to teach and or speak. I’ve also met some incredibly strong women who would love to participate. We are all learning…we are all “just walking each other home.”
