I Love the Night Sky

I was working on the computer yesterday afternoon when I remembered I needed to find the title for the Big Birdhouse. I have looked everywhere and can’t find it. So, I gathered my things and headed to the DMV in town. Mr. FixIt decided not to come with me. I sat for an hour and when I got to the window, it turned out I needed his ID. So we’ll have to go back on Monday and get it.

*sigh*

Other than the wasted trip to town, there was an absolutely beautiful end to the day. As I was unloading the groceries from the car, I looked up at the clouds scudding across the sky. The winds were strong all day yesterday and when the clouds are low, they literally fly by above you. I scanned the sky and there was a full rainbow with the moon front and center. What a sight! I snapped photo after photo of the beautiful clouds that surrounded Marshmallow Ranch. I have a vast collection of sky photos.

A group of my camping girlfriends and I will be gathering in a couple of weeks for a fun crafting weekend. We’ve done this many times over the past several years. We like to meet in March because the real camping season hasn’t started yet and we’re bored to tears with winter. The girls are renting a cabin but I’m bringing Grace and camping by the lake. One of the girls is bringing her camper and has the site next to mine. It’s going to be really cold, but I’ve stayed in campers during the coldest depths of winter. I will be fine. Besides, I’ll be crafting in the cabin during the day. I can hardly wait!

I’ve been working long and hard on this project. I hope to launch it on March 13th. Then, I leave for the camping trip on the 17th. Pray there’s no snow. I’ve camped in the snow, and I’ve towed in the snow…I don’t care to do that again.

Camping season is coming, people! I have my truck absolutely stuffed with camping gear from last season as well as the items I took from the a-frame as I prepared it to sell. I’ve got to wrap this project up because I have a boatload of work to do!

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV
