I have to say, even with all that I’ve been through with losing Mr. Virgo, I’m still above average on the happiness scale. I have moments of sadness, of course, but the Pollyanna in me soon crosses over to the sunny side of the street. Yesterday was just such a day. Mr. Lawn Dude finished the yard and it looks great. It cost me a pretty penny but the house has great curb appeal now and that’s what I was after. I bought a grand total of 146 bags of mulch! Wowza!

After my last trip to Lowe’s, I rented a storage unit and took two car loads over. I also took a car load to the thrift store. I filled three garbage bags with junk to throw away. I crossed off several items from the list. It was a hot day and I was exhausted by nightfall, but it was satisfying and productive to see things coming together.

Happiness is in the littlest things.
