I went downstairs and vacuumed the basement today and took the bag out behind to barn to dispose of it. When I peeked inside, I saw NO live fleas!!! Monday will be a week since they sprayed so I’ll check again then. If there is even ONE live flea, they’re coming back out to spray! OMGosh! What an ordeal!

I finished painting the living room yesterday. I need to do a little touch up then I can put it all back together and head to DC! Oh, the roof has a leak so I’ll need to get up there before winter and do something about that. There’s lots of work to do, without a doubt. But, it’s a labor of love.

I wish I could convey how incredibly peaceful it is out at the farm. It’s wonderful!
