I’m trying to get my 28 year old son to “get this”. He’s worried about bills. I said, “Do you remember the times you lived at home and I didn’t know how the bills would get paid? You were frustrated with me because you didn’t think I was concerned enough. I kept telling you God would provide. Sometimes, it would be THAT day, that they were due. He ALWAYS provided from an unexpected source. That fear is not from God for He hath not given us the spirit of fear..that comes from the enemy. And what you see as a lack of concern is peace and trust in our Heavenly Father. Trust Him. He always gives you what you need at just the right time.”

I got hit with unexpected medical bills & am obsessing how to pay them. I have investments, I can get the money easy enough, in fact have started the ball rolling on that. But I’m still fretting. I keep telling myself over & over that God is with me and has my back, my whole life in fact. That takes the worry away, but that fear creeps back, no runs back. It is so hard to walk away from the fear & worry and to “let go and let God”. I have to remember God created me & everything else on the planet, he can & will be with me when I need him.
