A few months ago, I was approached by Kimberly Paul for an interview on her new podcast show…Death by Design. Have you ever come across someone that you just KNOW? Our interview was via Skype and as soon as I saw her live on the screen I’m like…”I know you!” In the time since the interview, we’ve become fast friends and she is planning to come see me when I travel to the Outer Banks next month.

Kimberly has her own personal experience with grief when she lost the love of her life. She also has worked nearly two decades in hospice and has a very clear picture of what dying well in America really looks like. We strive to live well. Shouldn’t we strive to die well, too? Kimberly asks the tough questions about death and dying but she asks them with grace and tenderness. I am so honored she chose to feature me in this week’s episode of Death by Design. And, I’m happy to have another strong woman for a friend.
