Thank you, Carol! Actually, the flower in front of the lighthouse was a happy accident, a matter of perspective. I ran it through two different apps. I used Snapseed first and brightened the colors then put it through Prisma to give it a painterly effect. That’s where the lines came from. I’m glad you like it…and I’m happy you are here! I’d love to see your lighthouse quilt! ❤️

Question: the photo for this post is really interesting. Did you use a particular setting or filter to get the lines in the lighthouse and on the flower. Was the flower an “add on” or just what happedened as a result of camera angle ? Am thinking of doing lighthouse Appliquéd Wallhangings from photos. This photo is unique and I plan on taking some of my own to interpret with fabric.
