Reclamation of the sites is a big part of the process and in some cases may improve the area by removing the downed trees and brush that can be dangerous in dry fire seasons. They should be planting trees and local vegetation that was removed. It will all depend on who is running the show. Don’t hesitate to call and ask those all important questions of the company in charge of the drill site. Unfortunately the economic cycle isn’t as easy to control. Almost always a boom and bust expected.

It’s happening around our area of upstate SC. There are three such places within just a couple of miles from our home…it’s so sad.
