All the talk and fb posts about camping has made it a bit harder than usual for me this summer. We had so much fun camping (sleeping in the truck bed but making camp every night) all the way from So Cal to Montana (3 suns) and back 3 times, each time taking a different route, so we saw most of the main and secondary highways on the Pacific coast. I miss those goofy trips, even the prickly parts! The last trip before K got sick was to visit all the places he’d lived in Montana growing up. Challenging weather; heat and fires; but so well worth it.

I figured only tents would be back there, and there were huge motorhomes, etc.
