Every stitch is hand done and they’re raffled at the end of the year it takes to make one.

She made beautiful quilts. She sold some in Branson, MO but mainly gave them away on special occasions. She always said . .. it isn’t a good quilt unless it is totally hand done. I admire her hard, beautiful work; but I just can’t do it. Since I retired I have tried to take up quilting. But, I’m not patient enough to hand quilt. So, I am doing machine quilting. One machine I have does Christmas trees, snowflakes, and bells. I have done a Christmas throw quilted with Christmas trees, looks cool. Have fun!!! I am enjoying my new past time.
