Love your story. I turned 68 in April. We are having our 50th class reunion. Skating was the only thing I got to do. We live out in the country and not many kids around to play with. I never learned to swim. Would not change my life for anything. I will pray for your friend.

I too will be 68 in December. My skate night was Friday night with my “rocked in the cradle” friend across the street tho I was 2 years older, we were inseparable. Swimming in the summer she was a dare devil and I was afraid of the water. LIke to never learned how to swim!! We had a fun child hood in that way. I will keep your friend in prayer.
