I’m so sorry to hear of your loss and subsequent move, Pauline! I’m hoping to do some traveling in the Northeast this fall. I love the changing leaves! ❤️

Love this as well! I haven't talked to you in a long time. Hubby and I are no longer full timiming and have had too move back to the Buffalo area. His sister was killed last yr. by a drunk driver and they have a older brother who has some "challenges " and needs someone to be his power of attorney. So Spencer is it. I miss living in NC. We are buying my sisters house and she had likes like I do and in her one garden she was growing mint. I am happy with her gardening skills and am adding alittle of my own touches. I am hoping to renew my SOTF membership and will be in the Northeast region group. I continue to read your entries everyday. Love and sister friend Pauline

I love this! We also have volunteers this year that are thriving. We threw the brown leftovers that we pruned last fall into our fire pit. My healthiest basil plant was transplanted from there and we just discovered a little butterfly sprig with a purple flower proudly on display! And the mini watermelon plant I put in a pot last year died of neglect. This year, 3 different plants popped up and there is one watermelon that is nice size. I have no idea how to know when it is ready to eat. But, I might not be able to wait much longer. Yes, God is good! ???
