Good for you, taking the time to check in on your own well-being.
I did much of the same on Thursday. Farmer decided Thanksgiving morning was a good time to make electric fence, etc. Which was fine, as it allowed me to be inside alone, cooking. I took several breaks in my chair and kept praying for good spirits and not get frustrated at doing it all by myself, Again. :)

This weekend has been busy every day with something. Today is Sunday and while I may put up the tree, then again, I may now. I need today to rest and recover before the workweek starts again.

Thank you for your affirmation that it IS ok, to take time for ourselves. Blessed Thanksgiving to you & yours.
