Maintenance was his forte, and I have no idea, or it’s beyond my physical ability. Though I dearly love where I live, to downsize locally would actually cost me more in rent, taxes, etc. Living in a tourist destination at the cost can be a burden , I’m finding. I long to move to a smaller but still cozy place surrounded by gentle wildlife (no bears, snakes, ticks etc) But at my age, 70, to move where I don’t know a soul doesn’t sound wise. *sigh* The Golden Years ain’t, so much.
