After 18 years of remission, my breast cancer returned, this time metastatic, already in my lungs, bones and lymph nodes. I had the months of immunotherapy, but it wasn’t working fast enough, too much fluid accumulating on my lungs. I started chemo last week, will have six treatments, then see how it affects fluid retention. Your upbeat, positive attitude encourages me to stay the course. I am Aimee Figgatt’s MIL.
