♥ I now what you mean…I have those thrice-a-year treats too. I just love to cook but since being widowed, I give most of it away. Now, I can’t! that hurts, doesn’t it? Nothing better than sharing an extra pie with a helpful neighbor.

Well, in my defense, it makes a huge batch. We had three meals out of it and didn’t eat them all. But, you’re right…we need to go easy on the butter. Grits are a special treat we only eat maybe three times a year. ❤
