Casita Spirit Deluxe . We tow with a Ford F-150 Flex Fuel ; We love the way the Casita stays right with us whether going uphill or down hill . It is the perfect size for us and our miniature schnauzer . We can travel easily anywhere with out it costing us an arm and a led and can maneuver it in small spaces . We hardly ever park overnight in RV parks and choose instead to stay at Cracker Barrels or Wal-Marts , MY DREAM IS TO SOMDAY GO CAMPING WITH THE SISTERS ON THE FLY.

I have found that to be true when they watch me at the campground or when I’m backing up. It was really hard for Mr. FixIt to just sit and watch me when we camped the first time. He didn’t like it one bit, but now he brags on me to anyone who will listen. ❤️

My husband and I just completed our pilot training for a gyroplane, and everyone assumes I’m the tag-a-long. Love the differing reactions when they find out I fly, too. My especially favorite flying days solo were when it was just me and another young woman on the radio, flying our patterns, takeoffs and landings. (As a retired engineer I’m used to the ‘splaining and assumptions; some day they’ll figure out we can do it all, too. But I’m not presuming it’ll be in our lifetimes ?)

You see, this particular campground has you parking back to back with your neighbor, but for some reason the electrical poles were not lined up. I had to navigate around my neighbor’s pole while getting my camper situated BETWEEN my pole and a tree. Yep, dear ole Bob. Bless his heart.

I think it amazed them I did not need a man to do all that for me. Actually I reveled in taking my time just to see the looks on their faces. I loved it. I traveled by myself frequently as my husband was out of town worling a lot. Funny thing I could back that car trailer up beautifully but my husband who was a professional driver and could back a semi and trailer beautifully into a spot I would have trouble backing a car into he could not back that car trailer up. I guess it was too small! Haha!
