First, let me tell you my heart is with you. I cannot imagine what you are going through. Mr. Virgo’s death was sudden so there was no long goodbye.

As for Sisters on the Fly…you do not have to have one of those cute little dolled-up campers. Anything will do. I pull a 30’ travel trailer and sometimes I sleep in a tent. It just depends on the even. You don’t even have to have anything. Some gals sleep in cabins, lodges, or nearby hotels or B&B’s. The important thing is surrounding yourself with wonderful, supportive women. The Sisters and the Girl Campers really saved me after I lost my husband. They showed me that he died…I did not. So li lived. ❤️

I am in the process of letting go of my husband of 46 years. I know we only have a few more months before I become a widow. I don’t know what awaits me but the lure of the road simmers in the back of my mind. Perhaps it is just the desire to run away from my stress and grief, but finding girls on the fly and reading your post gave me a glimmer that the future will be possible. I don’t have a camper, but I was considering a class b van. Is it possible to be a sister without the cute retro camper? Regardless, your post was a gift. Thank you.
