Hi Ginny, Hope you don&#039;t mind me jumping in here for Sue, but having divided bulbs before with success here goes. I have lovely Asian Lilies in large planters, which are outdoor plants, that soon become overcrowed. Here&#039;s what worked for me: I very gingerly removed a large section of bulbs, as a unit, in the very early spring.

					<description><![CDATA[Daffodils greatly benefit from dividing every so often. They will not bloom as much if they&#039;re too crowded.  You could do some dividing (likely these were pass-along plants to begin with?) and reset some of the bulbs in another area to start new colonies.]]></description>
