Amen! It is a scary world in which we live. I have 8 beautiful, cherished grandchildren. All of my grands are in school in different states and 2 are in Germany attending school on Army Bases. I pray daily for my babies. God has blessed me with these wonderful beings and I am so thankful! This is a wonderful, but dangerous world. Everyday when we step out in this world could be our last day. The monsters are not under the bed or in the dark closet any more. They are our neighbors, our co-workers, the kids by grands go to school with, or our church members. I pray God takes care of my grands, my children my friends…. I just pray?

Sad & scary world we’re living in. There’s too much of this shown on tv for troubled kids/adults to copy & carry out such tragedies. You’re so right about the phones & computer games with violence. I seriously can see no end to any of this. Dysfunctional homes are widespread, troubled kids are everywhere & the list goes on. There is no reason for anybody to have AR-15 & AK-47 guns but unfortunately they have them so if they’d quit selling them there would still be ways for a criminal to get them. I, like so many others hate thinking about what my grandkids are facing in this messed up world.

These school shootings have me afraid to send my grandson to school each morning. Thankfully he’s a senior but I will worry about him going on to college…it happens everywhere! Our children are not safe. We live in Anderson,SC and in the school district where the shooting took place at an elementary school two years ago. We are having to relive those horrible events again this week as the courts are deciding whether to try the young boy…14 at the time..as an adult or as a juvenile. I can only imagine how hard this is for parents who have children in that school now and especially the family of the little 6 years old who died. These precious kids were going to recess as this happened. The boy had already killed his father before he went to the school and started shooting. Please keep our kids and teachers in your prayers.
