On New Year’s Day I was telling a friend how much mom loved watching the Rose parade. Five minutes later a cardinal landed on the brick next to the window. In 20 years of living here, I had never seen a bird land in the window there. I had to smile and say to my friend that mom knows I was talking about her and her love for the parade! ❤️❤️
