As a recent bride myself I can tell you that while I requested that others have their cell phones off and down through my entire service there were still that one or two who felt it their right to snap away . One posted photos before the reception had even started . I was so disappointed for two reasons – she was not a great photographer, and she is now not a great friend . Thankfully I have to approve all tagged posts and we don’t have a lot of mutual friends on social media so it’s a “whatever”.

When we spend thousands on our special day and priceless emotional investment people just need to whoa their Nellie aka hold their horses . I had one person I paid to go Facebook live on my phone on my account for my wedding as it was during Covid and so many couldn’t come . She was a professional photographer by trade so I have a great memory and all that video evidence or others snapping photos haha. I love them anyway .
