Wishy Washy Weather

Seasons

This is that time of year when Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind what season it is. Frosty mornings give way to 70, even 80 degree days which in turn produce heavy thunderstorms and rain. Then, in the blink of an eye, the ground is white in the morning with little yellow daffodils bowing their heads in the morning chill. The fruit trees are blooming already here in the Mid-Ohio Valley…truly a sight to behold when you have suffered through yet another winter.

One of my favorite things in the world is a great thunderstorm. I love how the thunder rolls on the river and rocks back and forth in the valleys. The rain pounding in waves on the roof…especially when I get the opportunity to sleep in TOW-Wanda. This will come soon. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy how the thunder shakes the walls where I’m staying.

I’m still in town with friends. I have a second chiropractor appointment today. The first one did wonders releasing much of the tightness and allowing my body’s energy to start doing its job in healing. It even lightened my mood. No massage just yet. I’m thinking that’s going to feel pretty good when I can get that going. I went yesterday to pick up my car. I was late getting there and they had rented it out! I’ll try again today. I wasn’t a happy camper over that. I told him I’d be back today at 10 and I didn’t care if the only car they had left was a Sherman tank, they were giving it to me for the intermediate price. Well, ok…I might have said it a little nicer than that. I did explain I have a concussion and can’t be held completely accountable for my mood. ?

Once I get my rental car, I’m going home. Then I can really get some rest. My errands are just about done surrounding insurance things. Now it’s medical follow-ups and rest…ice and more rest. Piece of cake. In the meantime…let it rain! ❤️

“In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.”

  1. I love the sound of rain, although the appearance of rain usually causes a fibromyalgia flare big time. The sound of rain is relaxing background noise to reading and a cup of hot tea. In fact, that may be a good way for you to relax and heal today❤️
