Road Trip: Day Twenty-Eight…”Dancing”

Feet at rest

I love listening to live music. We met Daughter #1 and the grands for dinner then attended the outdoor concert at Flatirons Crossing…a large mall in Louisville, CO. They left at intermission so when the band started up again, I led Mr. FixIt out on the dance floor for the second half. I love to dance, but my 64-year-old knees were screaming in protest before long. I’ll pay for it today, I’m afraid.

Yesterday was spent running errands like getting the oil changed on the truck for the trip back. Today is cleaning, doing laundry, packing. We all get to attend Little’s presentation at the end of art camp this afternoon then one last family gathering before we head out in the morning. It’s been a fast month and I’ll miss my babies. I’m already planning our return trip around Christmas! I know this isn’t much of a post…just touching base as we tie up loose ends before we leave. ❤️

“Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭127:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  1. Yes,dancing is terrible on the legs and knees. But I don’t care, when I hear a good song I get myself up and dance my heart out!!

  2. Be sure to check the air cleaner, too, before you leave!–usually easy to change but on new trucks, might need a shop to do it.
    Uneventful travels to you!!
